HIS
HOLINESS BASELIUS DIDYMUS-I
His Holiness was born on 29 October 1921. After
basic schooling, joined Tabore Dayara, Pathanapuram, and completed
high school education; graduated from National College, Thiruchirapally
in 1951 and did BT from Meston Training College, Madras in 1951;
did post graduation from Christ College, Kanpur; was ordained deacon
in 1942 and priest in 1950 by Catholicos HH Geevarghese II; ordained
Ramban in 1965 by Catholicos HH Baselius Augen I. On 24 August 1966;
ordained as Bishop at St Peter’s and St Paul’s Church,
Kolenchery, and was given the charge of Malabar Diocese. In 1992,
His Holiness was elected as the “Catholicos Designate”.
In 2005 October, His Holiness was installed as the Catholicos of
the East and Malankara Metropolitan. |

B. PAULOSE MAR MILITHIOS METROPOLITAN
H. B. Paulose Mar Milithios Metropolitan was born on August 30,
1946. After schooling graduated from St. Thomas College, Trichur;
joined the Theological Seminary at Kottayam in 1969; ordained as
deacon at Koratty Seheyon Seminary in 1972; ordained as priest on
June 2, 1973; ordained as Ramban by then Catholicos designate on
May 3, 1983; ordained as Bishop at Puthiyacavu St. Mary’s
Church by Baselios Mar Thoma Mathews I on May 15, 1985 and was given
charge of Kunnamkulam Diocese. While continuing as such His Beatitude
was elected as Catholicose Designate on 12 October 2006. |

HIS GRACE
GEEVARGHESE MAR IVANIOS
His Grace was born on 14th Nov 1940. After schooling; graduated from
Fathima Matha College, Kollam and did post graduation in Hebrew and
Syriac Languages from Mansfield College, England; did Masters in Theology
from Oxford University; was ordained deacon in 1963 and priest in
1973, by His Grace Mathews Mar Kurilos. In 1979 ordained as Ramban
by H H Baselius .His Grace was ordained episcopa in 1985 at St Mary’s
Church, Puthiakavu, Mavelikkara. While acting as a Bishop of Kottayam
Diocese, elevated and installed as a metropolitan in 1991.
